21-12-2025 Christmas Show

Today we went to the last show of the year, the International Christmas Show Gorinchem NL.
And we can speak of double trouble.
Int Sh Ch. / Bel Sh Ch. / HR / NL / Lux / VDH Ch. Xtreme Legendary vd Mergelhoeve Multi Jr. Ch., JWW'23, JW'23, BW'23, WW'24, BDSG'24, W'24, BW'24, ESG'25 'Moos' 1Exc CAC / CACIB and BOB.
Yes We Can Lucy vd Mergelhoeve NJK, LJK, Bel. Jr. Ch. 'Lucy' 1Exc CAC / CACIB and BOS.
Moos his return in the show ring after being out for a few months did not go unnoticed by many.
Later in the main ring Moos continued and got more drive with his movement.
Moos stood in a nice lineup and won Best In Group.
Later we returned for Best In Show, and that was another great lineup.
Two dogs were selected for the top spots.
Moos was there and won Reserve Best In Show.
We are incredibly proud of Moos and Lucy.
Thank you all for supporting us today and for staying longer to cheer for us.

14-12-2025 Int. Dogshows Brussels

Today we went to the 139th International Christmas Dog Show & 140th National Christmas Dog Show in Brussels Belgium.

At the 139th, Lucy achieved the following results:
Yes We Can Lucy vd Mergelhoeve NJK, LJK, Bel. Jr. Ch. 'Lucy' 1Exc CAC/CACIB and BOS.
With this, she again achieved Crufts Qualification.

At the 140th, Lucy achieved the following results:
Yes We Can Lucy vd Mergelhoeve NJK, LJK, Bel. Jr. Ch. 'Lucy' 1Exc CAC and BOB.
Lucy did incredibly well. And of course, we are very proud of her.

13-12-2025 Int. Dogshows Brussel

Today we went to the 137th International Winter Dog Show & 138th National Winter Dog Show in Brussels Belgium.

On the 137th, Lucy achieved the following results:
Yes We Can Lucy vd Mergelhoeve NJK, LJK, Bel. Jr. Ch. 'Lucy' 1Exc CAC/CACIB and BOB.
With this, she achieved the Belgium Winner title 2025 and Crufts Qualification.
With this, Lucy achieved her final qualification required for her Belgian Show Championship.

On the 138th, Lucy achieved the following results:
Yes We Can Lucy vd Mergelhoeve NJK, LJK, Bel. Jr. Ch. 'Lucy' 1Exc CAC and BOS.
Lucy did incredibly well, also in the main ring. And of course, we are very proud of her.

09-12-2025 Judge critic Crufts

Finally the judge critique of Crufts 2025 came.
It took a few months but the we finally know what the judge thought about Moos.

Beckers-De Jong NL/LUX/HR CH XTREME LEGENDARY Vd MERGELHOEVE (B/T Coon) (BD) Loved his size and overall construction, correct skull to muzzle, good markings, eye of correct shape & colour, very well constructed front & rear with good depth in body, strong backline and well set on tail, very good bone & feet, so sound on the move.
Moos was Best Dog and Best Opposite Sex!

30-11-2025 Dutch Winner Show Leeuwaarden

Today we went to the Dutch Winner Show in Leeuwarden, NL.
We were up early today.
Yes We Can Lucy vd Mergelhoeve NJK, LJK, Bel. Jr. Ch. 'Lucy' 1Exc CAC/CACIB and BOS.
With this she achieved the Winster 2025 title and a Crufts qualification.
We are incredibly proud of Lucy.

29-11-2025 Tullip Cup Leeuwarden

Today we went to the Tulip Cup in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.
We had to wait a bit for our turn, but it was worth it.

We are incredibly proud of Lucy.
She was once again very happy in the ring and on the mainring.

Today, Lucy achieved some fantastic results again.

26-10-2025 Int. Dogshow Leuven

Home sweet home of the Lovanium Trophy Leuven in Belgium.
It was a very pleasant day, but it could have been a degree warmer.
Today Lucy achieved some fantastic results again.
Yes We Can Lucy vd Mergelhoeve NJK, LJK, Bel. Jr. Ch. 'Lucy' 1Exc CAC/CACIB and BOB.
Later Lucy had to return to the main ring and ended the day with Reserve Best In Group!!!

04-10-2025 Wallonia Dogshow Mons

Home sweet home of the Wallonia Dog Show Mons, Belgium.
Yesterday afternoon we took our time in Mons so we didn't have to get up so early.
The results are as follow.
Yes We Can Lucy vd Mergelhoeve NJK, LJK, Bel. Jr. Ch. 'Lucy' 1Exc CAC/CACIB Wallonia Winner and BOB.
Later Lucy was allowed back in the main ring where she achieved a very nice 2nd place in the group.
It was a very pleasant day with friends.

28-09-2025 Int. Dogshow Maastricht

Today we went with Lucy to the 54th International Dog Show in Maastricht.
Lucy gave it her all, and her results are as follows:
Yes We Can Lucy vd Mergelhoeve NJK, LJK, Bel. Jr. Ch. 'Lucy' 1Exc CAC/CACIB and BOB.
She was among the 6 selected in the group.
We had a very successful weekend.

27-09-2025 Int. Dogshow Maastricht

Today we went with Lucy to the 53rd International Dog Show in Maastricht.
Lucy gave it her all, and her results are as follow:
Yes We Can Lucy vd Mergelhoeve NJK, LJK, Bel. Jr. Ch. 'Lucy' 1Exc CAC/CACIB and BOS.
She also won the title of Holland Cup Winner 2025 with a Crufts qualification.

21-09-2025 Halloween Dogshow Genk

Today we went to the Halloween Dog Show in Genk with our Lucy.
Yes We Can Lucy vd Mergelhoeve NJK, LJK, Bel. Jr. Ch. 'Lucy' 1Exc CAC and BOB.
Then we had to wait to enter the main ring.
But while waiting, Lucy had a little accident and got two toes of her back paw stuck in a hole.
Luckily, a lot of people came to help, and Lucy was quickly freed from the hole with her toes.
Lucy didn't experience any further discomfort, and we were more stressed about it.
Then it was time for the group judging to begin.
Lucy gave it her all and was selected along with two others.
We all got to walk up and down and do a lap, and then the placings were announced.
We saw two of them go for it, and that meant Lucy was chosen Best in Group.
We were so proud of Lucy, who was just 16 months old and among the top 10 for Best in Show.
Thanks to judges Sonia Kelveri Philippou (CY) for the breed and Marian Draganescu (RO) for the group.
Best in Show was judged by Nenad Matejevic (SRB).

31-08-2025 115th International Dog Show in Luxembourg

Results of today at the 115th International Dog Show in Luxembourg.
Yes We Can Lucy v.d. Mergelhoeve NJK, Bel. Jr. Ch., LJK ‘Lucy’ 1Exc CACL / CACIB and BOS.
Lucy got another Crufts qualification for 2026 and opened her Luxembourg Championship.
We are very happy with the results Lucy got this weekend.
It is another nice show weekend with friends.

30-08-2025 114th International Dog Show in Luxembourg

Results of today at the 114th International Dog Show in Luxembourg.
Yes We Can Lucy v.d. Mergelhoeve NJK, Bel. Jr. Ch. ‘Lucy’ 1Exc JCAC and BOS.
Lucy is now Luxembourg Junior Champion and qualified for Crufts 2026.
We are very proud of Lucy.
We had a very nice day at the show and at the camper spot.
Tomorrow another show day.

23-08-2025 Int Dogshow Mechelen

Today we went with Yes We Can Lucy vd Mergelhoeve NJK, Bel Jr Ch 'Lucy' to the 45th Sint-Romboutstrofee 2025 in Mechelen Belgium.
Lucy competed in the intermediate class for the first time and did fantastic again, achieving the following results:
1 Excellent, CAC, CACIB, and BOB.
Later in the group, she achieved a respectable 3rd place.
Thanks to the judges, Mrs. Małgorzata Wieremiejczyk for the breed and Mr. Rob Douma for the group.
We are incredibly proud and had a wonderful day with friends.

09-08-2025 World Dog Show Helsinki

Today at the World Dog Show in Helsinki.
Lucy did amazing and gave her best.
Results for today are as follow.

Very proud of Lucy as she performed like a pro.
It was nice to meet up with friends who traveled all the way to Helsinki as well.

07-08-2025 Circuit Shows Helsinki

Back at the hotel after the Circuit Show today in Helsinki.
Lucy did very well and had a nice time out.

03-07-2025 In Memorian Thunder

There comes a  time to say goodbye.
It was with a heavy heart that I had to let you go.
We made many beautiful memories together that I will always cherish.
There was no greater kindhearted dog then you were.
We shared joys and sorrows.
And thankfully, we still had some time together in our new home.
Now you're back with your father, Billy, mother, Lola, and your sweet sister, Sugar.
Rest in peace, and see you someday, dear Prince Thunder.
My happy crazy boy, Thundy Bundy.

Today Lucy and I had a day out together.
We went to the LKV Int. Dog Show in Genk Belgium.
We had a great time together.
Yes We Can Lucy v.d. Mergelhoeve NJK 1Exc JCAC, JBOB, Best Female and BOB.
Lucy was selected with the 10 Best In Show Juniors.
Later we had to get in the mainring again for the group.
Lucy did great and showed her socks off.
She finished the day as 3rd Best In Group!!!
She gained her last point for her Belgium Junior Championship and this week we received the certificate for her Dutch Junior Championship!
So proud of Lucy.

Today we went to the Dogshow Eindhoven who had a great heat protocol.
We had a very early start but all worth it.

Later on Lucy came back in the Junior Best In Show but no luck this time.
After that we returned for the group judgement and Lucy was selected by the final 6 of the group.
We are very proud of how Lucy performed today.

Home and looking back to a nice day at the Ladies Trophy Show in Belgium.
It started with rain then we had some sun and clouds but ended during the BIS with rain.
But it couldn’t distroy our lovely day.

We had a fabulous weekend with friends.

We had a great Saturday and finished very late with great results for both that day.
We are very proud of Moos and Jazmin they had a blast this weekend.
